TROY, MICH. – Sept. 4, 2013 – Bringing more than 16 years of experience, Brian Basil, joins Doeren Mayhew’s Troy office as a director in our investment banking practice.
Drawing upon his diverse private and public sector experience, Basil, an M&A advisor, will guide Doeren Mayhew’s Midwest clients through complex mergers and acquisitions to deliver maximum value to each transaction.

A licensed series 7, 63 and 24 investment advisor, Basil is often relied on to identify buyers for sellers, structure transactions, put debt and equity securities into place, complete restructurings and guide clients through the unique dynamics of an M&A transaction to help achieve growth or exit goals.
Basil earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Michigan State University, as well as Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate degrees from Wayne State University.
Prior to joining the firm, Basil served as an M&A advisor and national practice co-leader of Grant Thornton LLP’s Investment Banking Practice, where he focused on providing investment banking and corporate finance services to a variety of industries.
