Doeren Mayhew, a Houston CPA and advisory firm, has held its ranking in the 14th spot on the Houston Business Journal’s annual list of largest local accounting firms.
Rankings for the 2016 list were based on the number of Houston CPAs, with Doeren Mayhew listing 34 CPAs and 82 employees locally.
“Like many businesses in Houston, Doeren Mayhew has seen a slow-down in its growth this past year. Helping offset stagnant local revenue production was our national practice’s overall growth, specifically in the financial institutions and health care sectors,” said Houston’s managing shareholder Tim Moore, CPA. “Amidst continued oil market uncertainty, we are committed to providing tax savings ideas, operational-efficiency solutions and alternative growth strategies to help clients weather the downturn.”
Among other significant recognition, Doeren Mayhew was also honored by INSIDE Public Accounting as one of the “Best of the Best” firms in the United States for the 19th time.
