The Proposal/Marketing Assistant will play an important role in managing the firm’s proposal process and supporting the implementation of firm marketing initiatives in a positive team manner under the guidance and direction of the firm’s National Marketing Director.


  • Works with the Shareholders/Managers through the proposal development life-cycle to produce proposal.
  • Evaluates and understands customer needs and internal capabilities/plans to enhance quality of proposals.
  • Helps ensure proposals are properly scoped, identify missing elements and evaluate assumptions, ensure text and response match requirements.
  • Participates in proposal review meetings to ensure integration of all proposal activities.
  • Responsible for timeliness and quality control for all proposals delivered.
  • Perform post-mortem proposal activities.
  • Provide administrative support for all sales and marketing activities, including presentations, updating professional resumes, research on prospects/clients, mailings, etc.
  • Assist in development and on-going maintenance client/prospect/third party database for marketing communications and business development.
  • Source and manage the firm’s apparel and promotional inventory.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects as needed.


  • Minimum of 2 years of current relevant experience in a similar position
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable writing, grammar and editing/proofreading skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to set priorities under pressure.
  • Professional, hard-working, team orientated, excellent time management skills.
  • Strong professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels within the firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat is necessary.
    • Familiarity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and WordPress experience is a plus.
  • Able to operate office machinery
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to travel by air or car.
