Professional Experience

Alexas Crossman is an Internal Audit Supervisor at Doeren Mayhew in the firm’s Financial Institutions Group.

For over 10 years, credit unions have relied on her expertise to ensure their institution is compliant with federal and state regulations. While supervising engagements, Alexas works closely with clients to perform a variety of compliance, operations and internal controls reviews, while also providing timely corrective actions necessary to improve compliance controls. In addition, she conducts AML software validations for a variety of softwares such as Verafin, FIS Prime, YellowHammer, Patriot Officer and BAM.

Prior to joining the firm, Alexas gained industry experience working as a staff auditor, and then as a Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Analyst for a $2 billion credit union in South Florida.
