Claudio Calado is a Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer at Doeren Mayhew Capital Advisors with over 15 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. Claudio has advised public and private corporations, bringing extensive experience in overseeing and executing on merger and acquisition transactions, including cross-border, capital raising and debt placement transactions.
Prior to Doeren Mayhew Capital Advisors, Claudio was a Shareholder at Doeren Mayhew CPAs and Advisors in the Corporate Finance and Strategic Advisory Group, where he advised clients in various industry and service sectors with their merger and acquisition needs, including transactional advisory and due diligence, optimization of capital structures, purchase price allocations for financial accounting and tax, restructurings and post-merger integration. Throughout his time with the firm, he further assisted clients with a multitude of litigation services on complex business litigation cases, including calculating damages, analyzing data and rebuttal of other experts’ reports.
Claudio also has experience as a Manager at HP Pelzer (Automotive Systems), Inc., a global tier 1 supplier to the automotive original equipment manufacturers, where he gained extensive knowledge of the industrial sector. While in this position, he was responsible for managing any mergers and acquisitions, budgeting and forecasting for all of the North American operations, managing cash flow and assessing capitalization alternatives for the operations.
Claudio is fluent in German and Portuguese, and proficient in Spanish.
