2023 Compliance Trends: Staying Ahead in an Evolving Regulatory E...
Doeren Mayhew, a Michigan CPA and advisory firm with other locations in Texas and Florida, has been honored as a “2013 Best of Troy” recipient for the renovations of its new headquarter building in Troy, Mich.
For more than 40 years, the Troy Chamber of Commerce has recognized the outstanding physical investments made by businesses within the city of Troy.
Since opening its doors in 1932, Doeren Mayhew has been deeply-rooted in Southeast Michigan and specifically in the City of Troy since 1979. In 2010, the firm recommitted itself to Troy and Oakland County by purchasing the Columbia III building, just a stone throw away from its previous location in the PNC building.
The 77,000 square foot building underwent an extensive renovation to accommodate the firm’s growing staff of more than 200 professionals. Among the many cubicles and offices, the new location also encompasses a grand staircase at its entrance, a lobby garden, rat-pack inspired lounge, 11 conference rooms inclusive of a board room – each donning a name of a historic icon, three full kitchens and two main lounge areas for employees.
“We are very proud of the how our new building has turned out. It has fostered a positive working atmosphere for our employees and created a pleasant experience for our clients,” said Mark Crawford, managing shareholder and chairman for Doeren Mayhew. “Receiving this honor validates all of the efforts we put into making it unique and welcoming.”
The building can be seen prominently displaying the Doeren Mayhew name from Big Beaver Road, as well as southbound and northbound I-75.
