TROY, MICH. – Dec. 20, 2017 – Doeren Mayhew, a Michigan-based top 60 certified public accounting and advisory firm, teamed up with The Rainbow Connection, a non-profit organization dedicated to making dreams come true and providing services to children suffering from life threatening illnesses, to help grant wishes this holiday season.
Through the firm’s community outreach program, Difference, Doeren Mayhew’s employees donated a number of items to the organization for children ranging from 2.5 to 18 years old. Additionally, the firm donated a monetary gift of $10,000.
Doeren Mayhew’s donation will assist The Rainbow Connection with the services they provide to the children and their families including granting wishes, utility assistance, information and referral assistance, emotional support and more.
“Our Difference program has given opportunities, like this one, to employees and our firm to help make a profound impact on social and environmental causes we are passionate about,” said Chad Anschuetz, Doeren Mayhew chairman and managing shareholder. “The Rainbow Connection is one of those causes, and we are happy to support their outstanding efforts during this special time of year.”
This year Doeren Mayhew’s Difference program supported more than a dozen charitable organizations, such as The Rainbow Connection, Habitat for Humanity, Forgotten Harvest, Volunteers of America and many more, through volunteering and monetary efforts
