TROY, MICHIGAN – Doeren Mayhew, Troy-based certified public accounting and management consulting firm, delivered a check on December 20, 2011, in the amount of $6,294 to Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan.
Doeren Mayhew announced the start of its annual Gleaners Community Food Bank drive in 2010, with Doeren Mayhew matching 100 percent of employee contributions. Employee contributions and firm matching dollars totaled $6,200 in 2010.
“Our annual food drive was another huge success this year,” said Lawrence Simon, Marketing Director at Doeren Mayhew. “The continued success of this program is a wonderful example of how we can help make a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors most in need,” added Simon. “We are proud of our employees and their continued generosity and commitment to the drive and our community.”
