HOUSTON – August 13, 2018 – Doeren Mayhew, a leading group of Houston CPAs, has joined the Houston Food Bank in its fight against hunger with a $5,000 annual corporate sponsorship commitment to the organization.
“Through our firm outreach program, Difference, we are proud to support the Houston Food Bank and its mission toward providing meals for families within our community,” says Chris Masters, Houston Managing Shareholder. “As a community partner, we hope to not only help increase awareness about the organization’s impact but also contribute as many resources as possible to further serve and promote their mission.”
As part of the firm’s sponsorship and Hunger Action Month, Doeren Mayhew will also participate in the organization’s annual Hunger Game Challenge this September, where employees will make financial and food contributions as well as volunteer their time all month long.
Through the Difference program, Doeren Mayhew has supported several other organizations within the Houston community, including the American Cancer Society, National Kidney Foundation, National MS Society, Star of Hope and more.
