Alissa Crawford is a Shareholder at Doeren Mayhew, where she began her career in public accounting over ten years ago. She leads and supervises accounting, audit and assurance services for a variety of industries, including private equity, manufacturing, non-profits, dealerships and aerospace/defense contractors. In addition, she is regularly involved in consulting engagements and M&A transactions.
Leveraging her experience working on non-profit engagements, as well as serving on the board of a local non-profit, Alissa understands both the internal and external accounting operations for non-profit organizations bringing a unique perspective to client engagements.
With a deep understanding of regulations surrounding employee benefit plans, Alissa is also relied on to conduct and supervise many annual 401(k), defined benefit and pension plan audits as a member of the firm’s Employee Benefits Plan Group.
Dedicated to further developing her own professional skills, as well as her peers, she is instrumental in the facilitation of the firm’s continuing education program.
