Professional Experience

David Thrush is a Principal at Doeren Mayhew where he focuses on accounting, audit and assurance for clients in the health care, private equity, manufacturing, distribution, service and restaurant industries.

With over 10 years of experience, David supervises the planning, fieldwork and reporting of audit, review and compilation engagements for the firm’s clients. Additionally, he has experience performing buy-side advisory services for publicly traded companies and closely held businesses with transactions ranging from $2 million to $250 million.

Earning his AICPA Advanced Defined Contribution Plans Audit Certificate, David also has a deep understanding of regulations surrounding employee benefit plans and is relied on to conduct and supervise many annual defined contribution, defined benefit, cash balance and ESOP plan audits. In addition, he serves as a leader in the firm’s Employee Benefits Plan Group.
