Doeren Mayhew Recognized as a Fast-Growing Firm, Climbs 8 Spots on Accounting Today’s Top 100 List

TROY, MICH. – March 23, 2022 – Doeren Mayhew, a national CPA and advisory firm with locations in Michigan, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, London and Zurich, increased its ranking on Accounting Today’s annual list of top 100 firms in the United States, plus was recognized as one of the publication’s top 20 fastest-growing firms.

With a 40.36% growth rate in 2022, the firm ranked number 51 on the publication’s 2022 Top 100 list, and also ranked number four on its Pacesetter for Growth list. The annual publication depicts survey responses related to revenue for the most notable CPA firms across the United States.

“In today’s competitive market, it’s an honor to be recognized as a leader for growth within the accounting industry,” said Chad Anschuetz, Doeren Mayhew’s managing shareholder and chairman. “Like many firms, we continue to evolve our business model to suit today’s climate and meet our clients’ changing needs. By doing so, we have been able to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve through strategic acquisitions, strengthened service capabilities, and concentrated efforts recruiting and retaining staff, all of which have been key to our growth.”

Supporting Doeren Mayhew’s growth in 2022 were acquisitions in both its Michigan and Texas markets. The firm recently announced its merger in Grand Rapids-based Beene Garter LLP, further strengthening its Michigan presence, plus acquired Darlene Plumly CPAs in Houston in November 2021.

Among the firm’s additional recognition, Doeren Mayhew was also recognized as one of Forbes’ best tax and accounting firms in the United States. The firm has also been consistently ranked as a top 100 firm by Inside Public Accounting.
