A leader in the firm’s Financial Institutions Group, today he is responsible for overseeing certified audit and agreed upon procedure engagements. Clients rely on his extensive technical acumen to guide their management, Board of Directors and Supervisory Committees in navigating complex auditing, accounting and business-related matters.

A respected industry figure, Chris is also frequently called upon to speak and author on a wide range of industry topics. Passionate about the success of the industry, he also volunteers on the AICPA’s Depository Institutions Expert Panel to collaborate with regulators on improving regulations and accounting issues impacting credit unions across the nation.

Merging his credit union CPA practice Nearman, Maynard, Vallez, CPAS, P.A. into Doeren Mayhew in 2024, Chris understands the nuances of running a successful business.
