Doeren Mayhew Names Chad Anschuetz as New Managing Shareholder and Chairman

Chad Anschuetz, CPA - Managing Shareholder and Chairman, Doeren Mayhew TROY, MICH. – Oct. 9, 2017 – Doeren Mayhew, a top 60 certified public accounting and advisory firm with domestic locations in Florida, Michigan, North Carolina and Texas, and an international location in Zürich, Switzerland, has announced the recent appointment of Chad Anschuetz as its new managing shareholder and board chairman. Elected by the firm’s board of directors and his shareholder peers, Anschuetz’s term began Oct. 1, 2017. I am committed to upholding and fostering the values and client service model that has made our firm great.” Anschuetz has been at Doeren Mayhew for 26 years, joining the firm as an auditor after graduating magna cum laude from Adrian College with a degree in business administration. Over his career, he has successfully focused on meeting the accounting, audit, business advisory, and merger and acquisition needs of a wide range of businesses – which he will continue to do for his clients. A shareholder for 16 years, and a member of the firm’s management committee and human resource committee, Anschuetz has been instrumental in developing the firm’s infrastructure and growth strategies. Citing clients as the firm’s most valuable asset, Anschuetz will continue to keep the firm focused on their success by staying at the forefront of trends to deliver insight, oversight and foresight. Armed with remarkably talented staff, he is confident the firm can successfully adapt to rapid technology changes creating a paradigm shift in the accounting industry, and continue to find innovative ways to add value to clients. Succeeded by Anschuetz is 41-year Doeren Mayhew veteran Mark Crawford. Serving as managing shareholder and chairman since 1995, Crawford guided the firm’s growth by more than 700 percent and expanded its footprint across the United States from Troy, Michigan and abroad to Zürich, Switzerland. Stepping down as planned to begin his two-year transition into retirement, he will spend his remaining time at the firm advising clients, assisting with the transition and continuing to mentor his successor as he has over the years. “I am pleased to have had the opportunity to serve as Doeren Mayhew’s managing shareholder for the last two-plus decades and am proud of what the firm has become,” says Crawford. “More so, I’m excited to see what the future holds for the firm.
