John Zasada Joins Doeren Mayhew’s Credit Union Practice
TROY, MICH. – June 25, 2019 – Doeren Mayhew, a certified public accounting firm and nationally recognized top credit union auditor, is pleased to welcome John Zasada, JD, CAMS to its Financial Institutions Group practice as Credit Union Compliance Consulting Director. Zasada brings 25 years of experience assisting financial institutions across the nation remain in compliance by conducting and leading compliance engagements including Bank Secrecy Act; Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices; lending, operations and website testing. He frequently assists in establishing regulatory compliance programs for hundreds of credit unions ranging from $100 million to $10 billion in assets. “We are excited about the addition of John to our team,” said Robin D. Zasada is a graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University, University of Copenhagen, University of Colorado at Boulder and Vermont Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and is an active member in the credit union industry.
