GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – June 6, 2023 – Beene Garter, A Doeren Mayhew Firm, an affiliate of Michigan-based national accounting and advisory firm Doeren Mayhew, has named Joshua Garvey as the Grand Rapids managing shareholder. Appointed by Doeren Mayhew’s board of directors, Garvey will lead the West Michigan office in its strategic vision, growth, culture and client relationships. “I am very honored to lead the Grand Rapids office forward as the next managing shareholder,” stated Garvey. “Our firm has had the privilege of serving the West Michigan market for nearly 75 years. My vision is to uphold that commitment and keep our firm focused on creating meaningful impact for our local community.”Garvey joined Beene Garter in 2010 as a development officer helping lead the firm’s practice development strategy and execution. In 2018, he was promoted to shareholder and held the responsibility of leading and operating the firm’s Outsourced Services Group.
