A leading industry trade publication, Construction Executive, surveyed hundreds of CPA and advisory firms with dedicated construction practices to compile this year’s list. Rankings this year were determined by a weighted algorithm that considered the following factors:

1. Firm revenue
2. Number of construction CPAs
3. Percentage of revenue from the construction practice
4. Number of construction clients
5. Number of states the firm is licensed to practice in
6. Number of office locations with a construction accounting practice
7. Number of employees with CCIFP certification
8. Year the construction accounting practice was established
